Jacinthe Rivard lives in St-Lazare, just outside Montreal.
She describes herself as a “nostalgic painter” who loves painting objects that bring back joyful memories. She selects objects that you wouldn’t expect to see in a painting; and sees beauty in things we sometimes take for granted. Working in oils, she makes use of a light box to give her subjects their unique glow.
Her work is collected internationally and has won numerous awards. In recent years, her work has been featured at Miami Art Week (Red Dot) and Art Expo New York. Her art has been published and has made the covers of various magazines.
