Michael Gerry has been exhibiting in Canada, United States, Europe and Korea since 1975. He is represented in numerous private, corporate and public collections. He has been an elected member of The Ontario Society of Artists and teaches at numerous art schools in Toronto. He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions at various galleries and institutions, including the University of Toronto's Justina Barnicke Gallery; and his work is included in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto. His recent body of work is comprised of finely observed depictions, often done en plein air. They range from characterful snapshots of his travels through Europe and the US, to soulful views of Muskoka and nearby parts and more intimate and personal scenes around Toronto and his own neighbourhood.
