Here is one vignette from Joanna Track's lofty home, where I spent the afternoon documenting her collection of art. Interior designer Teresa Track arranged nine of Francisco Gomez's floral works on mylar in a dreamy, airy grouping in the dining room. Their overall minimal composition, combined with the white box frames, accentuates the calmness of the space. I love the placement of these unconventional floral works.
The glamorous Judy Diamond unveils the major vignettes of art in her elegant home. It was a thrill to document her collection and thoughtfully curated space. Here are the highlights.
Shira often gravitates to contemporary works that are minimal or conceptual. Dorian Scott's graphic pastries, and Tek Yang's photograph "What Remains: Piled Receipts III", exemplify her aesthetic, and serve to maintain a sense of calm in her kitchen.
I strolled along picturesque, snowy Rosedale streets last Friday, losing my way only once, until I reached the house of client Mimi Wood. Mimi shares a beautiful home with her husband, three children and dog, who enthusiastically greeted me at the door. I was immediately taken by Joshua Jensen-Nagle’s romantic photograph of a blurry Elizabeth Taylor, that is visible from her entrance, and hangs in a dreamy living room.
