I feel fortunate to have avoided chaotic malls and crowded downtown streets this holiday season. This year I never left work, and found/commissioned the perfect works of art for my parents and three sisters. A bit predictable perhaps, but in my defense I strongly believe that original art makes a pretty great gift.
