20 Years

When Lisa and Shira first opened Art Interiors, fresh out of university, there was nothing quite like what they envisioned. As opposed to present day Toronto, few galleries existed, and none like the casual and accessible space they founded; there simply was no alternative to the white wall, one show gallery. Nor was there any exhibition quite like the Festival of Smalls, which showcased and sold affordable artwork in small sizes. In celebration of Art Interiors' 20th year anniversary, I delved into the archives to uncover old advertisings, Festival of Smalls invitations, and photographs, revealing of Art Interiors' innovative and rich history.
