Aaron Jones was born in Santa Monica, California in 1986. He achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queens University, has exhibited in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, and his work has been included in collections in the United States, Canada, Germany, and Dubai. In his work Jones endeavours to reclaim his past, to renovate his familial history and to begin anew. His work is characterized by dreamy landscapes composed of layers of paint and photographic components suspended in multiple pours of high gloss resin.
