art interiors' blog

Stephanie Cormier works in a variety of mediums, often employing found or discarded materials, and resulting in abstract forms. This resourcefulness extends to her environment as well; a main space in her home functions as part living room, part studio and part daughter's playroom/studio.
The artwork in Cari and Cory's home stands out against neutral wall colours and a polished interior. Large contemporary works, like a Dean West photograph in the kitchen, and an abstract work by Trevor Craig McDonnell in the living room, become focal points in major living spaces.
Bonnie, Steve, their two daughters, and new puppy share a cozy home in Toronto. Bonnie discovered a love for fabrics, paint colours, and art as she embraced the role of interior decorator for her family's home.
Contemporary and traditional artworks, thoughtful groupings, and dreamy sculptures find a perfect home in this elegant space.
In honour of our current exhibition Elizabeth Lennie: Wish You Were Here, we have dedicated this week's blog post to Lennie works in the context of our client's homes.
